Francis Bernard “Frank” Condon, Jr., 89, of Needham, MA, died peacefully in his home on Monday, October 14th. He was the beloved husband of Louise V. Condon and the loving father of Lou Anne Collins and her husband, Casey; Frank B. Condon III and his wife, Therese; Pamela Condon; Ray Condon and his wife, Roberta; Brian Condon and his wife Susan; Maura Carson Condon; Sean Condon and his wife, Annie. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and his sister, Rae B. Condon of Rhode Island. Frank grew up in Rhode Island and was the son of the late Chief Justice Francis B. Condon of the Rhode Island Supreme Court and Lillian Jordan Condon. He graduated from St. Raphael Academy in Pawtucket and Boston University in Massachusetts. Frank began his career as an executive with Westinghouse and later transitioned to a career in investments, which was a lifelong passion. He spent most of his career at the Woodstock Corporation in Boston, beginning as an Investment Counselor and becoming the President and Chief Operating Officer. Frank served on several Boards and was well respected for his financial acumen. He was a devoted family man and will be dearly missed by his large and loving family. Visiting hours will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, on Friday, October 18th from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Bartholomew Church, 1180 Greendale Ave, Needham , on Saturday, October 19th at 11am.
