Mrs. Dollie May Shoemaker, age 93, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024.
She was born in Carroll County, Georgia on May 2, 1931, daughter of the late Dave Robinson and Cindy Bates Robinson.
Mrs. Shoemaker was owner of Polar Club Restaurant along with her husband and a member of Roopville Baptist Church. She loved watching the Atlanta Braves, football, cooking, gardening, traveling, sewing for her children and scratch off tickets.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Steve Shoemaker, Stuart (Sandra) Shoemaker, Bryant Shoemaker; daughters, Celia Jones, Cindy Smith; grandchildren, Steve Jr., Michael, Misty, Stuart, David, Josh, Megan, Jennifer, Matthew, Shane, Ryan, Benjamin; numerous great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; nephew, Aubrey (Pam) Duffey. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger M. Shoemaker; and granddaughters, Amanda and Tessy.
A graveside inurnment service will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 2 PM in Carroll Memory Gardens with Pastor Ben Bonner officiating.
