Theodore L. “Ted” Anderson, 69, of Exton, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024 at his residence with his family by his side.

Born in Detroit, Michigan on March 12, 1955, he was the son of the late Roy R. and Dorotha Heft Anderson. After finishing undergraduate school and receiving his master’s degree, Ted spent most of his career at Chester County Hospital where he worked as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. He was intelligent and hardworking, a true jack of all trades. He enjoyed woodworking, golf and skiing, and was a devoted Eagles fan. A lifelong lover of animals, Ted especially loved his cat, aptly named, Cat.

Surviving are his daughters Stephanie Pye, wife of Robert, Dana Wolfe, wife of Daniel, and Madeline Anderson; grandchildren Austin, Bjorn, Leah and Asher Pye, and Everlyn, Landen, Bentley and Shylah Wolfe; siblings Jane Anderson Haass, Lynne Anderson Baum, wife of Bob, Tom Anderson, husband of Kristi, and Todd Anderson, husband of Iris; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 3 PM at James Terry Funeral Home, 736 E Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335. Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 2:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
