Michael Lee Roe, of Bismarck, Missouri, passed away Monday, October 14, 2024 at the age of 52.

He was born on September 22, 1972 in Tacoma, Washington. Michael was preceded in death by his grandmother, Thelma Slack Staines, and an uncle, John Slack.

Michael was a huge fan of Elvis, Walker Texas Ranger, the Three Stooges and Magnum, P.I. He also enjoyed playing Bingo. Michael’s dad, Dan, was his best friend and his mom was the love of his life. He also enjoyed hanging with friends at home.

Michael will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes: his parents, Holly and Dan French of Dixon, MO; two sisters, Christine King and husband, Todd of Lakewood, WA and Erin Settelmeyer and husband, Bryan of Tacoma, WA; and nieces and nephews, Lily King, Ema Flemming, Anil Flemming and Kyle King.

A graveside service for Michael L. Roe will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at the St. James Cemetery in St. James, MO. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Missouri Special Olympics.
