CHURCHVILLE – Mary Odell (Landes) Craig, 52, of Churchville, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

Mary was born in Staunton on August 28, 1972, the daughter of Gloria (Smith) Landes and the late Donald Lee Landes. She was a graduate of Riverheads High School, and was formerly employed by Cen-Tax Tax Services.

Mary was a devoted wife and mother. Her favorite joys included fishing, animals, music of all sorts, “Fast and Furious” movies, soap operas, and crossword puzzles.

In addition to her mother, Gloria Landes, she is survived by her husband of nearly 25 years, Shane Craig; four children, Tiffany June Craig, Mitchell Shane Craig, Jacob Lee Craig, and Destiny Raye Craig; a brother, Michael Landes (Doreen); two aunts, Shelby Myers and Donna Lihos (Tim); and two nephews, Cullan Overby and Nathan Landes.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Monday, October 21 in the chapel of Bear Funeral Home, officiated by Derek Almarode, Lay Pastor.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Monday, beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Memorials may be directed to an animal shelter of choice.
