Betty F. Shaffer, 90, of Londonderry Village, Palmyra passed away Monday, October 14, 2024.

Born March 22, 1934 in Middletown, she was a daughter of the late Harold F. and Violet P. (Carmany) Floyd.

A retired self-employed cosmetologist, Betty was Director of Missions from 1986 – 2006 at the Hershey Free Church and a member of GracePoint Church.

Surviving are her husband of 72 years Donald A. Shaffer; son Donald A. Shaffer, Jr. (Patricia); daughter Melanie K. Walls (widow of Timothy); sister Romaine Boyanowski (widow of Edward); brother James Floyd (widower of Annette); seven grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at her church, 740 Leon Avenue, Palmyra preceded by a visitation from 10:00 AM.  Private interment in Middletown Cemetery.
