Susan L. Werner Obituary

Susan L. Werner, 71, passed away Monday, October 14, 2024.


She was born July 18, 1953, in Chester, a daughter of the late Charles L. and Margaret (Stitt) Pedrick.


She graduated from Garnet Valley High School in 1971. She then attended Neumann College and received her BA in Elementary Education in 1994.


Susan was a teacher at St. Thomas the Apostle School and worked for Aramark at Citizens Bank Park and Lincoln Financial Field. She loved teaching and spending summers at the beach. There was nothing more important to Susan than her friends and family.


She is survived by her husband Kevin Werner; five children, Jacqueline (Raymond) DeChristie, Kevin (Shelby) Werner, Andrew (Candice) Werner, Amy (Mark) Williams and Jonathon Werner; 12 grandchildren, Sienna, Marleigh, Sophia, Holden, Abigail, Jonah, Madison, Nolan, Emery, Hayden, Donovan and Bowen; six siblings, Charles (Janet) Pedrick, Gary Pedrick, Tracey (David) Wesolowski, Kelli Farrell, Elaine (Brian) Rogers and Jane (Ray) Pedrick-Aull and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.



In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter Olivia Williams.


Friends and family are invited to attend her viewing from 6-8 PM, Thursday, October 17, 2024 and again from 9:15-10:30 AM, Friday, October 18, 2024 at St. Thomas The Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, where Mass will be at 10:30 AM on Friday. Burial will follow in St. Thomas the Apostle Church Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Cavanagh Patterson Funeral Home, 43 E. Baltimore Ave., Media.
