Mr. Winston Freeman was born on November 11, 1950 in Greenwood County, SC.  He was the husband of Bennie Barr Freeman and son of the late Joseph “Preacher” Devlin and the late Vash Freeman.  Winston passed on October 14, 2024 in Greenwood, SC. He was 73 years old.

Winston was a member of Troy Bethel A.M.E. Church in Troy, SC. He attended public schools in Philadelphia, PA and retired from Fluor Daniel Construction Company as a foreman. Winston enjoyed spending time with his wife and family. He also enjoyed fishing and playing with his Germen Shepherd Max.

Winston’s memories will be cherished by his wife Bennie Barr Freeman of the home, stepdaughter, Kimberly Barr of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Jarou Brown of Charlotte, NC, Demetrious Barr (Ashley) and Ashlyn Moise both of Columbia, SC, DeKovean Freeman, Grayson Freeman and Corbin Freeman and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Winston was preceded in death by his daughter, Shuiquetta Freeman.
