Willetta H. Snyder Obituary

Willetta H. Snyder, 81, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 14, 2024.  She was born on July 10, 1943 in Baltimore, MD; a daughter of the late George “Walter” and Lenora Blanche (Robinson) Harig.  She was raised by her late grandparents William Harold and Blanche Robinson and Aunt and Uncle Eileen A. and Emory A. Hopkins.  In May of 1963 in Lanham, Maryland; she was united in marriage to Ralph Don Snyder.  He preceded her in death on December 12, 2017.

She is survived sons Ralph D. Snyder II married to Pam, Everett, PA and Russell D. Snyder married to Penny, Everett, PA: grandchildren Jason married to Jaclyn, Joshua married to Whitney, Selena and Shannen married to George; four great grandchildren Baylee, Abigail, Jaelyn and Joanna; and cousin Dick (Kitty) Hopkins.     

She was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister and a cousin Dianna Hopkins.

Willetta was a member of the Everett Church of God.  She was a homemaker that enjoyed caring for her family.

At Willeta’s request there will be no public services a private graveside service will be held at the Ritchey Cemetery with Pastor Jonathan Kisner, Pastor Jenn Kisner and Pastor William Kisner officiating.

Arrangements by Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett.

If friends so desire memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Snyder to the Everett Church of God Youth Group/Childrens Ministry, 11152 Lincoln Highway, Everett, PA.
