Patsy J. Harris Ard went to her heavenly home on October 14, 2024, after a valiant fight against cancer. She was born on February 16, 1949, in Chumuckla, FL, to Willie Floyd and Carnley Joy (Maddox) Harris.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Kenneth Edward Harris, Rodger Dale Harris, and Larry Wayne Harris.

Patsy is survived by her loving husband of 59 years and 39 days, Rufus Duncan Ard of Pace; son, Snapper Duncan Ard of Pace; daughter, Kandi Devin Ard of Pensacola; granddaughters, Gabriell (Spencer) Price of Milton, Ava Beck of Jacksonville, Taylor Morris of Pensacola, Petty Officer Jordon Morris of the US Navy St. Bahrain, Haylie Morris of Robertsdale; great-grandchildren, Brayden Daley and Lorelei Price; brother, Harry (Linda) Harris of Berrydale; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends; and an awesome Chumuckla Community Church family whom she truly loved.

Services will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Chumuckla Community Church with visitation at 2:00 p.m. and funeral at 3:00 p.m. with pastors Johnny Johnson and Tom Sharron officiating. Burial will follow at Elizabeth Chapel Community Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Spencer Price, Jon Terry, Clarke Harris, Grant Harris, Dustin Holloway, and Ross Kelley.

Honorary pallbearers are Ray Eddington, Dale Maloney, Jason and Terri Hawke, Keith Harris, Geoff and Lorna Murphy, Ruth and Wayne Campbell, Kitty Norris, and Ronnie Ard.
