Lester G. Hoynoski, 80, passed away at home on Monday, October 14, 2024. He was born in Springfield, on July 18, 1944, to the late Edmond and Anna (Vaughn) Hoynoski. Lester was employed as a registry officer for the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles and was transferred over to the Massachusetts State Police and retired in 2005 after 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, traveling, taking cruises, loved going to Alaska and toured US history locations. Lester loved watching and cheering for the Boston Red Sox. Lester is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Donna J. (Glynn) Hoynoski of Westfield, his daughters, Melissa D. Hoynoski of Westfield and Kimberly Dale Demers and her husband Mark of Chicopee, his cherished grandchildren, Steven Hoynoski and his wife Laura Greenough, Timothy Wilhite, Kyle Goudreau and Michelle Rodriguez and a great grandson Jayden Wilhite. Sadly, Lester was predeceased by a daughter Judith Lynn Hoynoski Goudreau Rodiguez, a sister, Carol Talmadge, and his brothers, Wayne Hoynoski, Edward Hoynoski and William Hoynoski. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Saturday at 11AM in the Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street Westfield, MA 01085 followed by burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Western Ave. Westfield.
