Misty D. Holland, 46, of Elnora, Indiana, went home to be with Jesus, surrounded by her family, on Monday, October 14, 2024 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. She was born on September 14, 1978 in Washington, Indiana, the daughter of Diana (Troppler) Moore and Wayne Moore.

Misty’s favorite place to be was home. She loved the Lord, with all her heart. She enjoyed working outside in the garden and yard, working jigsaw puzzles and crossword puzzles, making jewelry and hanging out with her nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed listening to country and Christian music. She had an extensive collection of CD’s. Misty loved being organized and helping her family with chores around the house.

If you were blessed enough to know Misty, you know she was the most genuine and kind-hearted person. She loved everyone in her life with all her heart. She touched so many lives in her time here on this earth. She was loved, cherished, and will be deeply missed.

Family left to cherish the memories of Misty include: her parents, Diana and Wayne Moore; five sisters, Terria (Moore) Wilcoxen, Ebany (Scott) Roark, Cassey (Tim) Cochren, Lacee (Dana) Robinson and Rachel Moore; nieces and nephews, Daisy Roark, Baron Roark, Theo Cochren, Ella Robinson and Millie Robinson.

Misty was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Martha Troppler and step-grandparents, Don and Maxine Moore.

The family is planning a memorial service at a later date.
