Mrs. Justine Bailey Petty, age 88, of Smyrna, SC passed away at her home on Monday, October 14th, 2024.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 am on Friday, October 18th, 2024 at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy., York, SC. The funeral service will begin at 11 am in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Lewis Gunn officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York, SC.

Justine was born on March 13th, 1936 in Wake Forest, NC. She was raised by her late grandparents, Paul and Amanda Bailey.  She is survived by her children, Sharon Strain (Eddie), Johnnie Kay Totherow (Mike), Mark Petty (Carmie) and Todd Petty (Wanda); along with her seven grandchildren; Susan Strain, Eddie Strain, Amanda Parker, Michael Brown, Israel Petty, Jordan Petty, Brock Petty; and her 17 great-grandchildren; Matthew Medlin, Shelby Pawloski, John Luke Pawloski, Ethan Strain, Christopher Plott, Joseph Kelly, Kayleen Brown, Gabriel Brown, Joseph Perkins, Johnathan Petty, Millie Petty, Katie Eaton, Emily Eaton, Jacob Eaton, Lily Petty, Brooklyn Petty, Wynter Faye Petty; and great-great granddaughter, Ella Suggs.  Also surviving are her two sisters, Paulette Walker and Francis Wheeler. 

In addition to her grandparents, Justine was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kimberly Strain, great granddaughter, Eden Strain, and numerous siblings.
