Gloria Bender Obituary
Gloria Bender, age 81, of Sabina, passed at Arrow Springs TriHealth on Monday, October 14, 2024.
Born in Goshen on March 3, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Betty Lee and Robert Johnson, Sr.
Gloria was a 1961 graduate of Sabina High School. She worked in various positions at New Sabina Industries, the Shell Station, was the manager at Windmill Restaurant and retired from Uhl's IGA in Sabina. Gloria loved baseball, working puzzles, collected baseball cards and coached women’s softball in Sabina. She was a member of the Sabina Church of Christ.
She is survived by her son, Mike Miller and long-time friend, Chris Adams, both of Sabina. Aso left to cherish her memory are siblings: Carol Grooms of Rockport, TX and Chuck Johnson of Sabina.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, George Bender; sister, Debbie Wolf and brother, Robert Johnson, Jr.
Friends may call at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 11am – 12Noon. A graveside service will follow at Sabina Cemetery.
