Samuel M. Pereira, 88, of Gloucester, passed away at home on Monday October 14, 2024. He was the husband of the late Rosa P. Pereira.

Mr. Pereira was born in IIhavo Portugal on September 23, 1936, Son of the Late Samuel N. Pereira and Maria J. Catarino.

He had worked as a Fisherman, Cape Ann Tool, and Lee Pages.

Mr. Pereira was a very dedicated man to his family and enjoyed working in his garden spending time with his family.

Mr. Pereira was a member of the DES Club the Holy Ghost of Peabody.

He is survived by his three children, Antonio M. Pereira and his wife Maria, Fatima M. Bettencourt and her husband John, Joseph Catarino and his wife Joy. Grandchildren Daniel and Jacob Pereira, Marco, Zachary and Taylor Bettencourt, and Matthew and Justina Catarino; great grandchildren, Jackson, Amelia, and Margo Pereira.
