Imogene Johnson, age 94, passed away Friday, October 11, 2024. She was born January 26, 1930, in Highsplint, KY to Grant and Sarah (Pope) Dixon. She enjoyed going to church and was dedicated to her faith. She loved to stay active, loved dancing, doing word searches, gardening, canning green beans and was the ultimate stain remover. Imogene is survived by her daughters, Alexandra Lindvall and Rae Jean (Joshua) Hurd Sr.; son-in-law, Gerald Reno; grandchildren, Felicia Lindvall, Melony Donahoe, Jessica (Randy) Brown, Jami (Donnie) Reno, Joshua Hurd Jr.; great-grandchildren, John Wesley Henderson IV, Jayson Henderson, Gavin Donahue, Devin Donahoe, Brianna Donahoe, Jasmine Reno, Jada Brown, Jordan Butt, and Julia Reno; great-great grandson, Walker Baker, and sister, Norma Jean Gribble. She is preceded in by her husband of 37 years, Ray Johnson; her parents; daughter, Vicki Reno; granddaughter, Amy McCarn; son-in-law, Scott Hill; sisters, Eubie Foust and Vera, who passed away at two months old, and brothers, Warren, Warden, Grant Jr. and Norvin. A Visitation will be held Monday, October 21, 2024, from 11:30 AM- 12:30 PM at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Ave. Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at the funeral home at 12:30 PM with Pastor Duane Harney officiating. Entombment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
