Sheilah Bargery, 77, of Ridgely, Tennessee, died on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Signature Health in Ridgely, Tennessee.
Born, August 14, 1947, in Mayfield, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Harold Bennett and the late Virgie French Bennett. Mrs. Bargery was a dedicated employee for the State of Tennessee where she worked for the Tennessee Department of Human Services and as a counselor at Northwest Tennessee Correctional Facility. After retiring from the State of Tennessee, she worked at Tennessee Farm Bureau. She was a faithful member of Cottonwood Baptist Church in Ridgely, Tennessee, serving as the pianist for many years.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bargery will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Cottonwood Baptist Church in Ridgely, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Rev. Paul Adams and Rev. Ronnie Turner. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely, Tennessee. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Cottonwood Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory, her husband of twenty-five years, Paul "Jamup" Bargery of Ridgely, Tennessee; three sons, Glen Edward Bargery (Melissa) of Ridgely, Tennessee, Bryan "Duck" Bargery (Angela) of Ridgely, Tennessee and Joel Bargery (Laurie) of Ridgely, Tennessee; one sister, Sherri Morris (Tommy) of Paducah, Kentucky ; eight grandchildren; seven grandchildren, her beloved dog, Bengi and a host of friends that she considered family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, William Carlton "Chip" Roberts and one sister, Kathy Lecornu.
Honoring Mrs. Bargery as pallbearers will be Glenn Bargery, Joel Bargery, Bryan Bargery, Jason Mills, Chuck Stewart and Peyton Lebo. Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy McBride, Wayne Cranford, Cyler Hudson and Charles Stewart.
