Rose Mary Rogers was born on December 22, 1942, in Cooper, TX to Anison Ross Sr, and Arresta (Brown) Ross. Rose Mary departed this life on Monday, October 14, 2024.
Rose was a faithful member of Sheppard Street Church of Christ since 1998.
Rose received her formal education at Booker T. Washington in Mount Pleasant, TX.
Rose was a dedicated Nurse Aid and Medication Aide before retiring.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles A. Rogers Sr., her parents, siblings, Amos Jr, Valton Ross and Voncil Ross, along with a daughter Nedra Rogers and a great grandson O’Marion Fountain.
She leaves cherished memories – her children, Tondra Stevenson, Mt. Pleasant, TX; Charles A. Rogers Jr, Palestine, TX; Calvin Rogers, daughter-in-love Crystal Smith Gladewater, TX and Eather Rogers, Mt. Pleasant, TX. Her fourteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild with three more on the way. Two sisters-in-law Lillian Rogers and Louise Rogers. A very special friend, Ethelyn Robertson. A special daughter-in-love Tammy Rogers. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and cherished friends.
