William Darl Prinkey, age 86, of Harrison City, died on Monday, October 14, 2024. He was born on April 13, 1938 in Normalville, PA, to Russell E. and Rosella I. (Firestone) Prinkey. Bill was a US Steel retiree and long-time member of Community United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially with his brothers.

Bill is survived by his loving daughters, Wendy (Mark) Rossi and Melanie Prinkey; sister, Dorothy (the late Jesse) Ridgway; five brothers, Ronald (Jean) Prinkey, Raymond (Janet) Prinkey, Alfred (Pam) Prinkey, Robert (Loretta) Prinkey, and Clifford (Nancy) Prinkey; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Betty Jane Prinkey; and a brother, Howard (surviving wife Edna) Prinkey.

Friends will be received Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, PO Box 465, Harrison City, 724-744-2721, where a funeral service will be held Friday, October 18 at 11 AM, with Pastor Jerrad Peterman, officiating. Interment will follow in the Irwin Union Cemetery.
