Terzina Buccilli, 94, the wife of the late Vincenzo Buccilli, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Complete Care of Meriden after a brief illness. Born in Pratola Peligna, Italy on May 12, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Venanzio and Laurina DiBacco. Terzina and her family arrived from Italy in February of 1955 and had resided in Meriden ever since. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
Terzina loved cooking for her family, specializing in sauce, meatballs and lasagna. She also really enjoyed her vegetable garden.
She is survived by her two sons, Sergio and his wife Barbara Buccilli and Rico and his wife Andrea Buccilli; her four grandchildren, Kristina, Michael, Jennifer and Courtney; her eight great grandchildren, Nolan, Norah, Gemma, Rosalie, Caleb, Silvia, Leona and Bianca; her sister Ornella (Mary) Perlot and her sister-in-law, Angelina DiBacco. Mrs. Buccilli is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Americo DiBacco and her sisters, Oresta Polce and Lena DiMateis.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, October 24th from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden, CT 06450. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish, Mount Carmel Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
