Frank Lee Flowers, Jr. was born on November 4, 1961, to Frank Lee Flowers, Sr. and Lois Faye Harris Flowers. When the family moved to Kansas City, Missouri in 1970, Frank was 8 years old.

He attended Graceland Elementary School and graduated from Paseo High School in 1980. Frank played football on Paseo’s football team.  After high school, Frank attended Kansas City College of Medical and Dental Assistants and Bailey Tech School. He also spent a short time in the army.

As a youngster, Frank joined Zion Grove M.B. Church.

Frank loved art and was very proud of his drawings and paintings. Also, he was excellent at writing poetry.

Frank passed away on September 25, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank L. Flowers, Sr. and his two sons, Frank L. Flowers, III and Reign Beautiful Flowers.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother: Lois F. Flowers, one son: Faithful Christian Flowers, two sisters: Karen A. Flowers and Milicent C. Flowers, two brothers: Mark S. Flowers and Kurt D. Flowers, Sr. two granddaughters: Faith Faye Flowers and Saniyah Flowers, Detroit Michigan, two nephews: Kurt D. Flowers, Jr. and Joseph Flowers, two nieces: Alicia C. Flowers and Mikiala Flowers and two great nieces: Jaila Flowers and Laila Flowers, one aunt: Virgie M. Rogers and one uncle: O.C. Harris (Annie), Ennis, Texas, step-brother Jeffrey (Vanessa) Freeman, Cousins: Lois (Bryt) Johnson, Ennis, Texas, Marsha (Ian) Grantham, Houston, Texas, Angela R. Freeman., Frisco, Texas and Michael Freeman, Grand Prairie, Texas. Special childhood friends: The Cartwright brothers, Walter Williams, Kansas City, and Jimmy R. Connor, Texas. Special friends: Frank Scott, Bear Wright, Joel Bradley, Joe Sears and Darryl Washington; a host of family and friends. Mother of his sons, Wanda M. Mosley and Barbara A. Stevenson. He was married to Vergenea Crosby.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 17, 2024, 12pm at Watkins Heritage Chapel. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitations from 11am-12pm at the chapel. Services conducted by Watkins Hertiage Chapel. Condolences may shared on our website.
