Emogene Cole Kiser, 97, of Seagrove, died Monday, October 14, 2024 at her residence.

Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Antioch Christian Church, Seagrove.

Officiating, Rev. Brian Faircloth, Rev. Bryan Maness.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Emogene was a native and longtime resident of Randolph County. She owned her own beauty salon were she worked until in her eighties. Emogene also supported her husband with farming and preparing income taxes. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Emogene enjoyed baking and making sequin calendars for family and friends. She loved feeding humming birds and enjoyed flowers and vegetable gardening.  Emogene was preceded in death by her husband, John D Kiser, and her parents, Columbus and Ethel Auman Cole, siblings, Clacie King, Reggie Cole, Avis Cox, Colene Counts, Paul Cole, Hazel Adams, and Rachel Gatlin.

Survivors: daughters, Dianne Stutts and husband Charlie, of Kingman, AZ, Darlene Dale and husband, Malcolm, of Fayetteville, Lisa Lovin and husband Tim, of Asheboro, sisters, Edna Hayes, of Asheboro, Wilma Jones, of Euless, TX, grandchildren, Jeremy Stutts, Samantha Lovin, Jonathan Lovin, many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Gentiva Hospice for the excellent care and support they provided to our mother and family, especially Terese Williams. Also a thank you to special friends Edsel and Renee Barnes and Kay Lovin.

Visitation, 2:00 PM to 2:45  PM, Saturday, Antioch Christian Church, Seagrove and other times at the residence.
