Jamie Ann Giddings, 63, of Ottumwa, died at 5:15 a.m. October 14, 2024 at her home.
She was born June 26, 1961 in Upland, PA to James E. and Edna Simmons Sampson. She married Michael Giddings April 27, 2021.
Jamie was a 1979 graduate of Ottumwa High School. She enjoyed cooking and watching Food Network. She especially loved spending time with family.
Surviving is her husband, Michael; her children, Dana (Dan) VanDevender of Ottumwa and James Palmer of Brooklyn, NY; step-children, Ashlea (Robert) Ellis of Ft. Worth, TX and Chelsea (Payton) Palmer of Albany, TX; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; her father, James (Mary Alice) Sampson of Ottumwa; and brother, Wade (Brenda) Sampson of Ottumwa.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Her body has been cremated. A time to celebrate her life may be held at a later date.
