Norman Edward Duffy 


May 29, 1930 ~ October 14, 2024


Norman, who grew up in Iowa, went home to the Lord peacefully at his residence in Sterling Heights. He enjoyed traveling and after retirement became very involved at St. Anastasia parish where he and Dolly enjoyed many friendships.


He will join his parents, Luke and Ina and 3 siblings, Dee, Don, and Bill in Heaven. He is survived by his other 5 siblings, Paul, Joe, Maureen, Larry and Alice. Norm was the beloved husband of his wife Dolores (Dolly) until her death in March of 2021.


Norman was the dear father to 3 children, Marci Aiuto (Mike), Christine Broses (Jack) and Mark Duffy. He was the loving grandfather to Steve Aiuto (Deidre), Jessica Wentworth (David), Alyssa Nowicki (Steven), John Broses (Sharon), Luke Broses (Zoey), Joey Broses (Alissa) and Jacqueline Broses (deceased). Norman was also the proud Great Grandpa to Olivia, Sullivan, CeCe, Aurora, Enzo, Violet, Quinn, Sophia, Delilah and Benjamin.


Visitation will be held on Friday (Oct.18) 5-7:30PM with a Knights of Columbus Rosary 7:30PM at A.J. Desmond & Sons-Price Chapel 3725 Rochester Rd, Troy, MI, 48083


A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday (Oct. 19) 10AM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church- 4571 John R Rd, Troy, MI, 48085. Visitation at church begins at 9:30AM


Memorial Tributes in Norman's honor may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society (St. Anastasia Chapter) or to Knights of Columbus #13453 (Same Address as Church)
