HAVERHILL - Paula Jane (Ryan) Savoie, 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 14, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.

 She was born on March 10, 1939 to Marvis Prescott Ryan and Paul Winn Ryan and was a lifelong resident of Haverhill.

After attending Haverhill High School, Paula enjoyed working as an administrator for Mayor James Fiorentini. Following this Paula worked at the Haverhill Gazette where she also enjoyed designing layouts for the newspaper. Paula ended her career with Lucent Technologies in North Andover, retiring as a supervisor. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed traveling and theater. Her favorite hobby was shopping. She had impeccable style and class.

Paula will be dearly missed by her daughter Laurie Cammarata and son in-law Joe; beloved husband James Gordon; granddaughter Janessa; two great-grandchildren Giovanni and Aiden; siblings Richard Ryan and wife Sandra  and Gail Lorden and husband Michael; she is predeceased by her siblings Connie Lalumiere and husband Marty Lalumiere and Donna Ryan Roddy. Paula cherished her close relationships with her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.     

The family would like to extend gratitude to all of the nurses and caregivers from hospice and Ashland Farms in North Andover.
