Kenneth J. Healy, 70 of Mount Vernon passed away on October 14, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on August 2, 1954 to Mark and Ruth (Larson) Healy in Sioux City, SD.


Ken attended Mulberry Street Church in Mount Vernon. He was a former member of the Lions Club and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Ken enjoyed golfing more than anything. He also liked gardening, boating and target shooting. He was a big Minnesota Vikings fan. Ken was a DIY guy, and enjoyed working on projects around the house.


Ken is survived by his wife Beverley (Welch) Healy; children Joshua Lawson of Jamestown, OH, Adam (Lauren) Lawson of Ft. Leavenworth, KS and Nathan (Sarah) Lawson of Delaware, OH; grandchildren Caleb, Payton, Emmerson, Liam, Gavin, Channing and Eleanor; a brother Mark Healy of Le Sueur, Minn and many extended family members.


Ken was preceded in death by his parents and brother Gary Healy.


In keeping with Ken’s wishes there will be no funeral services.
