James Edward Malak Obituary
James E. Malak, 69, joined the Lord and his wife Sonchu in Heaven on October 14, 2024.
Jim was born in Akron on May 3, 1955 to Edward & Elsie Malak.
He graduated from Kent State University and worked as a software developer. He served his country as a member of the Army. Jim was a faithful member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church.
Jim was preceded in death by his father Edward and his beloved wife Sonchu. He is survived by hismother Elsie; son Mike (Michelle) Malak; his beloved grandchildren Zoey, Aubrey, Lilu, and one more on the way; sisters Janice, Joyce, Jean and brother Rick.
A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 11 am at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church 755 S. Cleveland Ave. in Mogadore, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit, OH. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Nicholas Church.
