Linda Lou Eaton, 71, of Fayetteville, died Monday, October 14th, 2024. Linda is preceded in death by her parents Opal and Jeff Burrough, siblings Pamela Tyree and James Whittmore
“She leaves to mourn her loss and will always be loved and remembered by her son Jimmy Kimball and his wife, Shanna Kimball. 3 grandchildren, Jessica Duncan & her husband Caden Duncan, Sara Ketcher & her husband Bo Ketcher, and Ethan Kimball. 3 great grandchildren, Rhett Ketcher, Oliver Ketcher, and Bodie Duncan.
Linda is the definition of a selfless woman. She lived everyday taking care of & expressing how much she loved her son, grandkids, and great grandkids! She was a proud Mom, Grandma, & Gigi! Her favorite thing to do was getting surprises for her first great grandson, Rhett, for every single visit (at least 3 times a week) so you can only imagine how many toys he has! She loved to drive around and sing to the radio, give “old
people advice” in every conversation, and spending time with her family.
She was also a huge part of her community. One day, she went to buy herself a watermelon but ended up buying the entire trailer full and sent them to a church to help with their food pantry. She always talked about how grateful she was for the ability to make a difference & she did!
I could go on and on about how amazing my grandma was, but everyone who knew her already knew that. She was a huge part of my heart, my best friend, and my biggest supporter. Every minute without her feels like an eternity, but I promised her to take care of my daddy and our family like she always did. Those are some shoes i’ll never be able to fill, but I will do everything I can to make her proud. This is not goodbye Grandma, this is see you later and I can’t wait to get back into your arms one day!
We love you, forever and always.”
