MRS. GEORGIA ANN HOWARD BURNETT, was born on Tuesday, September 9, 1958, in Augusta, GA to both the late Callie Howard and Leroy Williams. He departed this life on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the Piedmont-Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA.
Georgia attended the public school system of Columbia County, GA. She was united in holy matrimony to William Henry Burnett on June 30, 1995. Georgia Ann worked at the former Fort Gordon, GA Military Base and for Thomson Plastics for many years.
In addition to her parents, our beloved Georgia Ann Howard Burnett is preceded in death by two daughters, Selena Simmons, Sharlene Howard. She is also predeceased by her grandparents, Johnny, Sr. & Carrie Howard; a father-in-law, William Henry Burnett; three brothers-in-laws, Willie Roy Burnett, Roy Lee Burnett and Tommy Burnett; three aunts, Daisy Williams, Lillie Mae Gibson and Rachel Ramsey; three uncles, Bob Howard, James Howard and Doc Williams.
She leaves to behind to remember the best of times and to forever cherish her memory: a loving and devoted husband, William Henry Burnett of Thomson, GA; a loving daughter, Amanda Howard (La Thomas Rogers) of Thomson, GA; a loving son, Everett McKinney, II of Thomson, GA; one brother, Joseph (Damishia) Howard of Augusta, GA; five stepchildren, Latasha (Keith) King, Latansa Burnett, Michael (LaSandra) Burnett, William Burnett and Tavares McGahee, all of Thomson, GA; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a mother-in-law, Ada Burnett of Thomson, GA; three sisters-in-law, Betty Burnett of Hephzibah, GA, Pamela (Eddie) Winfrey of Thomson, GA and Mary McNair of Warrenton, GA; six brothers-in-law, Will (Susie) Burnett, Tyrone (Tiffany) Burnett, Henry (Ella) Reese, all of Thomson, GA, Milton (Regina) Ivey of Columbus, GA, Norman (Carrie) Ivey of Augusta, GA and Michael (Ida) Ivey of Warrenton, GA; five best friends, Ann Curry, Sylvia Burnett, Brenda Stokes, Cordell Taylor and Martha Ann Lowe; a host of additional in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and additional sorrowing friends.
