Gabe was born in Salinas, Ca. 5-31-45 and passed on 9-29-24.


Gabe was raised in Gonzales, Ca., resided there with his parents Lawrence and Lupe De Santiago with 3

other siblings. He attended grade school and High School there as well. He went on to attend Hartnell

College in Salinas, Ca.

He later chose the Ag business as his career which he worked in a family business of managing farm

labor and later becoming a Farm Labor Contractor. He retired in 2004 due to heart surgery.

He loved family, music, and sports. He was an avid Los Angeles Dodger fan. He loved music and his

hobby was collecting records. He was active in the community, coaching several years in baseball. Also

played many sports himself in school and out of school.

He was a great Father and grandfather. He had a great sense of humor and always made you smile. He

was very friendly and made friends very easy.

He resided later in Soledad with his youngest son Justin.

He is survived by three sons Ryan, Shawn and Justin De Santiago and eight grandchildren.

He was taken from us unexpectedly while being hospitalized at Natividad Medical Hospital on 9-29-24.

He will be deeply missed by all.
