Dolores Virginia Castilow, 89, of McMechen, WV, passed away September 24, 2024 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.

She was born on April 27, 1935, in Glen Dale, WV, the daughter of the late Elery William and Dorothy Virginia (Kiger) Castilow. Dolores was a First Church of God member in McMechen for many years and retired from Western & Southern Life Insurance Company as an Office Manager. After retirement, she traveled the world, and she was especially fond of steam boating on the Mississippi River and cruising the New England coast with American Cruise Lines. She loved spending time with friends and her small dog, Ike.

Dolores is survived by her long-time friends, Charlene Anderson of McMechen, WV, Jean Kurtz of Wheeling, WV, Dr. Crystal Bickford of Webster, MA, and Elizabeth Bowman of St. Clairsville, OH.

Graveside services will be held Friday, October 11, 2024 at 10 am at McMechen Cemetery with Pastor Mitch Johnston officiating.
