KATHLEEN ROSE GUZAUSKAS WAS THE DAUGHTER OF BRUNO AND DELFINA (MEIRONAS) GUZAUSKAS AND THE SISTER TO CHRISTINE.


SHE GREW UP IN CICERO, IL, ATTENDED MORTON EAST HIGH SCHOOL AND MORTON COLLEGE. SHE THEN MOVED AND LIVED IN CHICAGO FOR MANY YEARS WHILE PERUSING CAREERS IN ADVERTISING AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS.


KATHLEEN ENJOYED TRAVELING, WAS AN ARDENT STUDENT OF HISTORY, RELIGION, POLITICS AND SCIENCE. SHE WAS MOST DEVOTED TO HER BELOVED DOGS.


SHE WAS EXTREMELY PROUD OF HER LITHUANIAN HERITAGE. SHE WAS A LONG TIME MEMBER OF THE BALZEKAS MUSEUM OF LITHUANIAN CULTURE, THE BALZEKAS WOMEN’S GUILD, THE CHICAGO LITHUANIAN WOMEN’S CLUB AND THE KNIGHTS OF LITHUANIA.


KATHLEEN HAD A LONG AND ARDUOUS JOURNEY WITH CANCER. MAY HER SOUL NOW BE AT REST.
