Darlene A. Herman, age 76, of Jamestown passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024, in UPMC Hamot. She was born in Meadville, PA on July 10, 1948, a daughter of Robert and Margery (Lukens) Hogue. She was a 1966 graduate of Meadville Senior High School. On November 25, 1972, Darlene married John O. Herman, he passed away October 8, 2013. She was employed with FEMA for 20 years. Darlene loved baking, reading, and gardening. She also enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren. She is survived by three children, John R. Herman, Jolene D. Resele and her husband James Johnson, and Aimee D. Herman all of Jamestown, PA. A sister Shirley Bilunka of Meadville, grandson Austin Yurisic (Emily) of Kinsman, OH, three great granddaughters, Layla, Oaklyn, and Delainey and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband. SERVICES: Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
