Judy M. Wilson, 75, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2024, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Born on February 7, 1949, in Wheeling, WV.
A devout Catholic, Judy found great comfort and community in her spiritual life. She was a past member of the Cedar Club at Our Lady of Lebanon, where she developed lifelong friendships and deepened her faith.
Judy was self-employed, dedicating her career to her work with the same passion and commitment she brought to all aspects of her life. Her family, however, remained her true calling.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Julia (Luczak) Hodulik; her beloved husband of 45 years, John Wilson; her son, Jason Wilson; and her sister, Barbie Hodulik. Her legacy continues through her surviving children: John "Buzz" (Debbie) Wilson of Grove City, OH; Christopher (Jennifer) Wilson of Pasadena, MD; and Peter Wilson of Greensburg, PA. She also leaves behind cherished grandchildren: Bailey (Jordan) Sieber, Corey Wilson, Lindsay Wilson (Nick Burkhart), SarahKate (Austin) West, and Bella Wilson; as well as her precious great-granddaughter, Addison Jean West.
Judy's grandchildren were her whole world, and she loved nothing more than spending time with them. Her love extended to her canine companions, especially Ellie Mae, who brought her immense joy and comfort.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public visitation. A Memorial Mass will take place on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Church, 2216 Eoff Street, Wheeling, with Monsignor Bakhos Chidiac as celebrant. Private interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Judy will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family and her steadfast faith. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.Altmeyerfuneralhomes.com.
