Sheila (Edwards) Young, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on September 29, 2024, at the age of 82. Sheila was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David, and son, Jeffrey David Young; along with her parents, Merle "Heddie" and William "Bill" Edwards, of Milltown, Indiana; and her 10 siblings (Emmajean, Phyllis, Richard, Lonnie, Frank, Max, Joe, Regina, Renee, and Larry). She leaves behind daughter, Melissa (Derek) Kreutner; three grandchildren, Grant, Kayleann, and Wade; and dedicated niece, Rita Edwards. She was a longtime and very active member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a retired teacher's aide from Grant Line Elementary School. Donations in Sheila's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Easterseals Community and Disability Services.

A memorial visitation will be held 1:00PM - 3:00PM on Saturday, October 12, at the Market Street Chapel of Naville and Seabrook Funeral Homes (1119 E Market Street, New Albany, IN), with memorial service to follow, at 3:00PM
