Omari Douglas Hopkins Obituary

Omari Douglas Hopkins, affectionately known as Squeaky, passed away on October 1, 2024, at his home on Willow Street in Bridgeport, Connecticut, at just two months old. Omari’s short life touched the hearts of all who knew him. He was a sweet and loving baby boy whose presence brought warmth and joy to his family.


He is survived by his devoted parents, Asia Renai Manigo and Alonzo Douglas Hopkins Jr. Omari had a close bond with his twin brother, Ocean James Hopkins, and was dearly loved by his siblings: Lilliana Renai Manigo, his older sister on his mother's side; Emma Hopkins, his older sister on his father's side; and Alonzo Douglas Hopkins III, his older brother on his father's side.


Omari will be deeply missed, his father shared, “Daddy loves you forever. You are in a better place, and I will see you again. I love you, baby boy.”

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Omari’s life on October 10, 2024, from 10AM to 12PM. at Community Funeral Chapels, 798 Park Ave ,Bridgeport, Connecticut, 06604. Graveside interment will follow to St. Michael's Cemetery, 2205 Stratford Ave, Stratford, Connecticut 06615.
