Julie Ann Beamer Obituary
Julie Ann Beamer, 63, of Richmond, VA, went to be with our Lord on September 29, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Beamer; her grandparents, Benjamin V. Beamer and Nancy Sexton Beamer, Maud and Alfred Gibbs; step grandmother, Dorothy Beamer; her uncles, Edwin Beamer and Edwin Hall; aunts, Joyce B. Hall, Freda Beamer and Ingrid Beamer; and her cousin, Wanda Yvonne Beamer.
Julie is survived by her mother, Stella Beamer; sister, Sharon Beamer and brother-in-law Gary Solamon; niece, Gabriella Solamon; and many beloved family members and friends.
She was a graduate of The University of Virginia and University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Julie proudly served as a librarian for academic institutions in Virginia, and for the last 15 years at the U.S. Court of Appeals in Richmond.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, October 7, 2024 at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 30 Malvern Ave, Richmond, VA 23221, where a funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD, please meet at the cemetery office.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
