Paul Fricke (10/12/1924 – 9/29/2024) was a resident of Montgomery County his whole life. He was a Rountree Township retired farmer who lived in the house he was born in until he was almost 90. As a young man he enjoyed playing baseball with his brother and nephews. After he left the farm, he moved to Litchfield where he died just short of his 100th birthday.
His parents Walter and Gertrude (Kreutzberg) Fricke preceded him in death along with his only brother, Harold Fricke. He is survived by his sister Judith Gipson (Tahlequah, OK), one niece, Marla Gipson (Clayton, Ohio), five nephews, Lynn Fricke (Wheaton, IL), Wayne Fricke (Colorado Springs, CO), Larry Gipson (Tahlequah, OK), Randy Gipson (Tahlequah, OK), Lee Gipson (The Woodlands, TX).
Visitation for Mr. Fricke will be held Friday, October 11, 2024 from 9:30 am until 11:00 am. at Stiehl Dawson Funeral Home, Nokomis. Funeral services will follow with Rev. Jim Ferrell presiding. Burial will follow as Mt. Zion Cemetery, rural Nokomis.
