Marian L. (Farrell) Moir, 92, of Broomall since November of 1970, passed on Sept. 29, 2024, she was the wife of the late John C. Moir.
Born in Philadelphia on May 19, 1932, a daughter of the late George and Marian (Lindberg) Farrell. She was a 1950 graduate of John Bartram High School, where she was a member of the Color Guard. She was employed as an Administrative Assistant for the Mine Safety Appliance Co. of Philadelphia. She later worked at Kelly Girls and McDonald’s. A former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in South Philadelphia, she became a member of Messiah Lutheran Church when she moved to Broomall, where she taught Sunday School until its closing. She volunteered her time at the American Red Cross and to the library where she delivered books to several of the local nursing facilities.
Surviving are her son Glenn (Carolyn) Moir of Brookhaven and her grandsons Greg (Krista) Moir and Sean (Amy) Moir.
Family and friends are invited to her funeral service on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 11am at Logan-Videon Funeral Home, 2001 Sproul Rd., Broomall, PA 19008, where friends may call after 10am.
