Betty June Loveland, 95, Rogersville, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024 at The Cottage at Century Pines in Ozark.


She was born June 3, 1929 in Princeton, Minnesota, the daughter of the late Ralph and Nan (Fairbanks) Jones. She grew up in Princeton until her senior year, then moved to Sacramento, California. She was united in marriage November 3, 1951 in Harrison, Arkansas to Raymond B. Loveland. He preceded her in death in 2022. She was also preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.


Betty worked as an assistant librarian in Ramona, Oklahoma until moving to Rogersville, Missouri, then worked at Positronic Industries.


She loved being a mother, had a strong faith in God and was a longtime member of Plainview Church of Christ. Always had a big smile and kind words for everyone that met her. She was very creative, loved sewing, quilting, crafting, flower gardening, board games, puzzles, traveling, and being with her family. As a teen, she would collect signed pictures of movie stars of the 40s and 50s.


She is survived by three daughters, Deborah Loveland, Vicky Waterbury, and Susan Click; two sons, Brian Loveland and his wife Julie, and David Loveland and his wife Susanne; a sister, Norma Silver and her husband Norm; eight grandchildren, Autumn and her husband Ryan, Kristin, Kenny, Jessica, Samantha, Sarah and her husband Brandon, Molly and her husband Jon, Cooper and his wife Amanda; seven great-grandchildren, Roman, Zane, Eden, Gemma, Maddie, Hunter, and Baker; and many other relatives and friends.


Visitation will be held from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, Tuesday, October 8, 2024 with funeral services following at 12:00 pm at J.D. Lee and Sons Funeral Home, Rogersville. Burial will follow at 1:00 pm at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.
