Harriet Jimella Hite 74, was born August 10, 1950, in Delaware, Ohio to the late Marguerite K Hite and Arthur L. Hite. She was a Springfield resident for most of her life.

She attended Buckeye Valley High School and Clark State Community College for Accounting..

Through the years, she has worked in food service, tax prep and retail. Her versatility with cooking, numbers, money, people and mechanical abilities would later mold her into the "Community Caregiver". A second mom to many and always trying to feed and help someone in need.

Preceded in death by her parents, Marguerite K Hite an Arthur L Hite, Brother Arthur L. Hite Jr., Sister Alice Gallion and Son James Eric Hite.

Harriet is survived by a brother, Daniel Hite of Westfield; three daughters, Vatena L. Hite of Columbus, Ohio, Stephenie E. Hite (Randolph) of Bedford, Virginia and Teresa K Hite of Columbus, Ohio; one son, Bradley W Hite, Springfield, Ohio, 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, one niece, three nephews, special friend, Anthony Portman and a host of extended family.

Visitation is Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life service at 11 a.m. in the Robert C Henry Funeral Home.
