Marcello Bochicchio De Maria, a native of Benevento, Italy, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024, in the United States, where he resided with his beloved spouse, Joseph Railey.

Marcello is survived by his devoted spouse; sister, Mara Bochicchio De Maria (spouse, Luigi Ciardiello); nieces, Giulia Ciardiello and Claudia Ciardiello; and a host of cherished relatives and colleagues at MSC.

Marcello will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones and community. His legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Marcello’s final resting place will be in his hometown of Benevento, Italy.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Illinois Human Rights Campaign.
