Rodger E. Robinson, 75, of Crothersville, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. He was born December 6, 1948 in Commiskey, Indiana to Logan and Bessie Lee (Ross) Robinson. On August 4, 1972 he married the love of his life, Etta Sue (Brandenburg) Robinson. He enjoyed spending his days making his wife happy. Rodger found his passion in the open road and the connections he made along the way. Having dedicated his professional life to the transportation industry as a Semi Truck Driver, for National Distributors. His warm smile and generous spirit will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Rodger was passionate about cars, he was an avid mechanic that loved racing, where he won lots of trophies over his career of racing. Rodger is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mary Rice and Patricia Robinson. Surviving to cherish his memories are his wife; daughter, Sherry Robinson (Lucas Abernathy); three sons, Logan Robinson, Carl (Joann) Brandenburg and Rodger "Butch" (Jolene) Robinson; one brother, Lenvel "Butch" (Glenda) Robinson. He had ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 11:00am Monday, October 7, 2024, at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with Pastor Jim Donahue and Pastor Randall Applegate officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at Collins Funeral Home. Concluding services and interment will be in the Cana Cemetery, Paris Crossing, Indiana.
