Charles ALLAN Behm passed peacefully on September 29, 2024 at the Broward Health Hospital in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He was born in Reading, PA on October 7, 1939. Prior to his passing, Allan resided at the Oasis Living Quarters Memory Center of Fort Lauderdale. For many years, he worked for The Reading Public Library, operating the bookmobile, among other duties. Upon his retirement in 1995, he moved from Reading to Tamarac, FL. He loved to cook and entertain friends. He was a member of Gamma Mu and Fort Lauderdale Prime Gentlemen. A lover of classical music, he was a supporter of The Chopin Foundation of America (Chopin.org/donate) bringing piano recitals to great halls, churches and libraries. Predeceased by his parents, Emma Hain Behm and John S. Behm and an older brother, Fredrick, he is survived by a cousin, Lawrence Moyer of Wyomissing, PA and close friends/caregivers – Gerry Depken and Tom Cordle.
