Mark Raymond Brault
Age 70, of Oscoda, MI, formerly of Sandwich, MA, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024. He was born on July 23, 1954 in Athol, MA to the late Jean and Hedwich (Mallet) Brault. Mark worked for the L.S. Starrett Tool Company, as well as the Dan’l Webster Inn. He also served as the supervisor for the town of Barnstable, MA. He painted houses professionally for over 50 years. One of Mark’s most noteworthy hobbies was being Santa Clause every Christmas season. He loved wrestling, hunting, and having ice cream with his children and grandchildren. Mark was a former member of the Knights of Columbus, and served as a volunteer for the Athol Fire Department in Athol, MA for years. On October 18, 1975, he married the love of his life, Jill Cook. Mark is survived by his wife Jill; children, Danielle Brault, Nicole (Michael) Allen, Jennifer (Peter) Rawcliffe, and Christoper (Kandice) Brault; brother, Denis (Denise) Brault; sisters, Janet Mousseau, Theresa (Peter) Deloffi, Irene (John) Drozdowski; grandchildren, Skylar, Mikey, and Brooklynne Allen, Christian and Colton Brault, Addison and Kaylee Rawcliffe, and Gianna; nephew, Jarret Mousseau, and many other nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Colby Brault, and Henry and Evelyn Cook.
