Clarence "Man" or "C-Rad" E. White Obituary

Early Tuesday morning, September 24, 2024, our beloved, Clarence E. White, affectionately known as “Man” and “C-Rad”, peacefully transitioned from this earth at the age of 49. As he always says to his wife and children, “I’m passing the moon.” He was our treasured father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, brother-in-law, cousin, and friend.

Clarence was born on July 1, 1975, to the late Clarence Gilliam of Key West, Florida, and Zelda White of Hartford, Connecticut. He was the second in the succession line of five children.

“Man,” always put others first, as his love for everyone was unconditional. He was a provider, hard worker, loving husband, and great father, who LOVED his family. He especially enjoyed spending quality time with his siblings and cousins. Clarence was an avid sports fan of football, basketball, and baseball. His favorite teams were the NY Giants, NY Knicks, and the NY Yankees.

“C-Rad” was educated in the Nassau County, NY school system and attended Nassau Community College. During 1998 in Hempstead NY, he would meet the love of his life, Danielle Eady, at the famous “Nancy Store”. In 2001, they migrated to Hartford, CT. On July 14, 2010, Clarence would marry Danielle, whom he passionately referred to as “Boo”. From this union were born three beautiful children, Adrian A.D. White, A’saundra A.D. White, and Akari A.D. White.

Previously employed for 13 years at Otis Elevator, in Bloomfield, CT, he fulfilled various roles throughout the facility. His significant role was the “Mod Specialist.” He received numerous awards and recognition for his years of outstanding service.

His hobbies included investing in the Stock Market and spending time with his family. He loved watching good Sci-Fi and Thriller movies with his wife and children. He enjoyed Hip Hop music and old school R&B. He also got immense pleasure from enjoying leisure time with his children. Although playful, he also had a serious side. He would become a reserved, soft-spoken, and humble man whose words were powerful and meaningful.

Clarence is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Gilliam, grandfather, John White, grandmother, Annie White, two aunts, Annie Wilson, Janice Allen, uncle, Jerome White and his best friend, Adrian Rosenborough.

“Man” leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Danielle White of Hartford CT, his two sons, Keyshawn White of Hempstead of NY, Adrian White of Hartford, CT and three daughters, Armani White of New Britain, CT, A’Saundra White and Akari White of Hartford, CT. His siblings, William Mitchell (Crystal) of Hartford, CT, Regina Dixon (Paul) of East Windsor, CT, Anthony White of Miami, FL, Ka’Sean White of East Hartford, CT, 5 grandchildren, Cedrick Baxter, Imani White, Nazir Evans, A’Mir & A’Moura Cooper and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Clarence can NEVER be replaced but we promise to keep his memory and legacy alive within this family and close in our hearts.
