Anne Elizabeth Koll Satriano, 81 of Andrews passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at her residence. She was a native of Brooklyn, New York and graduated from Kings Park High School. She was crowned the “Queen of Kings Park” in a regional beauty contest. Anne worked as an operator for the telephone company while in New York, and at the family deli, “Port Jeff Delicatessen”. Anne then moved her family to Pompano Beach, Florida. There, she graduated from Broward Community College receiving a cosmetology certificate while in her 50’s. She worked at Avante Salon and also styled hair at Colonial Palms East Nursing Home. Anne later worked as a security guard at John Knox Village in Pompano Beach. Upon retirement she moved to Andrews, North Carolina where she focused on enjoying time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, Anne enjoyed her house plants and her dogs, especially her dog, Ralphie.

She was the daughter of the late Frederick Henry and Regina Bettinger Koll and wife of the late William “Bill” Satriano, who died February 28, 2023. She was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Lucy Ann Koll.

Surviving are two daughters, Jeanine Anne Pisciotta and husband, Robert of Murphy, and Sherry Anne Van Wyk and husband, John of Goodyear, Arizona; four grandchildren, Lauren Pisciotta, Bobby Pisciotta and wife, Taylor, Cassidy Jacovelli and husband, Vin and Brandon Van Wyk; three great-grandchildren, Casey Jones, Eva Michelle, and Carson Olivia; and one brother, Paul F. Koll.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made in memory of Anne Elizabeth Koll Satriano to the Valley River Humane Society, P.O. Box 658 Murphy, North Carolina 28906.
