Donna Louise Parsley Obituary
Donna Louise Parsley, age 86, of Paducah, formerly of Eddyville, passed away October 1, 2024 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Donna was born March 10, 1938 to the late Frederick and Louise Lefan Dorroh. She enjoyed shopping and playing cards with friends and cooking for her family. Donna was an avid sports fan of all Lyon County sports and UK but most importantly her grandchildren's sporting events. She was a member of Eddyville First Baptist Church. Donna was a homemaker and had worked as a typesetter for the Lyon County Herald Ledger.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (David) Croft of Prospect, KY; son, Jeff (Jane) Parsley of Paducah; brother, Carroll Dorroh of Eddyville; grandchildren, Eric Parsley and Ryne Parsley of Paducah, Dr. Andrew Croft and Alex (Cullen) Croft of Louisville; great-grandchildren, Hathaway "Hattie" Croft and Pence Croft; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James Thomas Parsley; infant daughter, Suzette Parsley; brother, Wayne Dorroh.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Lakeland Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Lakeland Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Perdue and Rev. Bob Martin officiating. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery in Lyon County.
