Danilo Cristobal Bernal Obituary

Danilo “Danny” Bernal was born December 22, 1944 in Pasig City, Philippines. He had five siblings, Lydia, Glory, Dante, Evelyn, and Myrna. Danny graduated from University of the East with a degree in banking and finance. He quickly established himself working at a local bank, where a mutual friend introduced him to the love of his life, Estellie.

Danny and Estellie were married for 52 years, 34 of which were spent in their new hometown, San Francisco. They proudly raised three children, Don Michael, Don Emmanuel, and Ethel Donna. Danny was a faithful servant of the Lord and grew deep roots at the Church of the Epiphany. His free time was spent with family - traveling, cooking, and gardening.

Danny went home to the Lord at age 79 on September 29, 2024, after battling a short illness. Although a failing heart took his Earthly life, his boundless faith and love leaves a beacon of light for all who knew him. His selflessness and generosity touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on the community he called home.
