Mary J. Weiser Graff, 92, of Oil City, died Tuesday afternoon, October 1, 2024 at Oil City Healthcare, following a period of declining health.
She was born in Oil City on September 8, 1932 to the late Boyd T. and Martha (Beatty) Hazlett.
She was of the Christian faith, enjoyed reading her Bible, and watching Joel Osteen Ministries on television.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be remembered for her quick wit and sense of humor.
She was a dedicated homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother who cared for her family.
She preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Weiser, Jr., who died in 1983. She was also preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Marah Barscz; and her brothers and sisters.
Mary is survived by three children: Karen Murphy of Wesley, James Weiser of Oil City, and Debra Barscz and her husband Joseph of Oil City; seven grandchildren: Robert Pascorell, Charles Murphy, Roberta Weiser, J.J. Weiser, Jennifer Weiser Shirey, James Barscz and wife Dawn, and Stacey Miller and husband Stephen; and eleven great-grandchildren: Jessika Mitchell, Devin Mitchell, Destiny Weiser, Aerieannah Weiser, James Tupek, Jasmine Barscz, Jared Barscz, Chloe Miller, Joseph Miller, Kendra Wright, and David Campbell; and many special friends that she made with the nurses and staff on the C-Wing at Oil City Healthcare.
According to her wishes, there will be no public visitation or service held. Private interment will be made in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens in Cranberry at a later date.
